Une Libération

George Feucht has been playing with cameras for as long as he can remember.  He was tapped by his local Wisconsin newspaper when he was just 15 to become their youngest photojournalist ever.  At the same time, he fell in love with the art of painting with light for all of his high school’s plays and musicals.  Discovering that these two passions could be combined into cinematography, he headed out West when he learned he was accepted into the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at USC. After graduating, George found himself splitting his time between operating on television shows and serving as cinematographer on independent passion projects.  He still loves to crank through rolls of Tri-X black-and-white film like he did decades ago for the Mayville News, but this time just for fun through his trusty Leica M6.
